INGREDIENTS:
- 500g all-purpose flour
- 1 sachet dry yeast
- 1 glass lukewarm water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Honey
- Cinnamon
- Powedered sugar
METHOD:
Sift the flour and make a hole in the middle. Add the salt, sugar and lukewarm water in which the yeast is dissolved. Knead well until the mixture becomes smooth and not sticky. Cover the dough and let it rise for one hour. Once it has doubled in size, cut it in small balls and open it with your hands or using a rolling pin (the balls should not be too large). Fry them in hot oil and make sure you pick them with a fork in order to make small holes. Once both sides are golden brown, remove from oil with a slotted spoon and place them on oil-absorbing paper. Sprinkle with honey, cinnamon and powdered sugar.
